The SANTINE logotype is customised from AkzidenzGrotesk, a modern sans-serif that was made in 1896. The second “N” in the name is reversed, a hint at the unexpected details in the clothes. All letter forms have a small cut from the bottom right corner adding to this unique and unexpected details further.
We have developed a visual language that features cut-out graphic letters, a reference to the construction of the garments, which uses alternative pattern-making techniques.
